Me, 2 sharks and a small space

The San Pedro wreck dive on Oahus south shore often is a resting place for whitetip reef sharks. This last Tuesday, I entered into their domain. The smaller one was about 4 ft and the larger was more like 6 ft.
Beautiful animals, I can never get tired of filming them!

Turtle Mania

Sunday 9-2-07 I had the rare occasion to dive Haleiwa Trench. I had some divers doing their deep adventure dive so we dropped down to the 95 ft mark then upon completing the skills we multi-leveled it back up to the top of the wall only to find what we think was 14 turtles sleeping, eating, or just waiting their turn. It almost looked like the crowded skies over LAX.
Special thanks to Victoria, Jonathan, Jeanne and Kenny for a fun dive. Hope to dive with you again soon!

Diving after Dark

With a final equipment check as the sun sets, we prepare to embark on a mysterious journey beneath the waves with only our lights to reveal what lurks in the dark.
Fish huddle against the rocks, colors masked with a grayish hue. Lobster and crab scurry about under cover of the dark.  Eels on the prowl along with the occasional shark, scour the reef for dinner.
Sit back and enjoy this magical tour "Diving after dark".

Total Lunar Eclipse

On Monday Aug 21st, we got a chance to witness a total Lunar Eclipse where the earths shadow blocks out the moon.

Once again my talented wife/editor has created a pretty cool sequence of the eclipse over time.  She also threw in some creative flare at the end!
