This is the time of year for holiday cheer and big waves on Oahu's famed north shore.
This time when opportunity came my way to sit and film, I took roost on the rocks of Waimea Point. The first part of this clip shows Sharks Cove in Pupukea. Now its hard to grasp the size of these waves unless you are familiar with the area, but the rock wall being swallowed by white-water is about 10-12 ft above the water line. Next you will see the famous Waimea surf break from a different viewpoint and a crew of couragous folk testing mother nature!
May you all have a safe holiday!!!
